House alarms - the 1st rant

What is with people and their cheap, noisy go all day house alarms. A neighbour, who will rename nameless, has a house alarm that goes off constantly and continues to go off during the day. As one who works from home and enjoys the peace it drives me mental. I assuming the alarm is so bad they don't have any sort of alert when the get home to tell them it went off. Oh well pen to paper - hopefully a note in the door will resolve.

HTC...got love that company and their products

HTC is a little know company that makes mobile phones - Windows based mobile phones see http://www.htceurope.com for their product lineup. If some of the devices look familiar that's due to the fact that O2 and T-Mobile (amongst others) OEM these devices. The other exciting part is that developer communities such as XDA-Developers and PDAmodbiz have found how to re-install the operating system and share applications between devices. So while HTC continue to develop innovative applications for their new devices, the dev's at these forums quickly extract the applications and enable them for all HTC devices. I currently own an XDA IIs (3 years old), HTC StarTrk and an XDA Orbit on which I have installed custom software, it allows me to prolong the lifetime of the products, never mind giving them a completely new look. Like all good stories...beginning

I am a salesman based in Ireland, selling VOIP and call centre solutions throughout EMEA and APAC. Married with two young kids the majority of my time is spent with them...in my spare time I like exploring the internet and "playing" with gadgets.
