House alarms - the 1st rant

What is with people and their cheap, noisy go all day house alarms. A neighbour, who will rename nameless, has a house alarm that goes off constantly and continues to go off during the day. As one who works from home and enjoys the peace it drives me mental. I assuming the alarm is so bad they don't have any sort of alert when the get home to tell them it went off. Oh well pen to paper - hopefully a note in the door will resolve.
